The Sailor’s Choice Race is back! Run out of Fort Lauderdale competitors sail around Great Isaac, Ocean Cay mark and Miami Sea Buoy. The RC will set the direction depending upon conditions. It is a challenging and tactical course that also runs you along the Bahamas with the sweet smell of land and barbecues that evening!

We do have a ‘bail out course’ if the stream is too rough in a strong north east wind. Previously, the race was run with the option to go around in either direction. This year we won’t have boats meeting head on at night!

Skippers meeting is virtual. The Lauderdale Yacht Club will host a social prize giving after racing on Saturday evening. Register now and enjoy this race to kick off the SORC Season.
